Montessori Tafira is a bilingual Montessori school for children aged 18 months to 6 years. We offer a warm, carefully prepared and respectful environment, with small group sizes that allow us to support each child individually, respecting their own pace, interests and needs.
Our educational approach is based on Montessori principles, encouraging independence, concentration, self-confidence and a natural love of learning. English is naturally integrated into everyday life in our classrooms, allowing children to become familiar with the language through meaningful daily experiences.
We believe childhood should be lived with calm, respect and wonder, in a school where every child is valued as a unique individual.

No rewards or punishments as a tool At Montessori Tafira, we understand discipline as a process of inner development. We do not use rewards or punishments as educational tools; instead, we encourage the gradual development of self-discipline through freedom within clear limits, independent work, concentration, repetition, and respect for the environment and for others. The adult’s role is to support each child in developing self-control, responsibility, and awareness of their own actions, gradually moving towards a discipline that comes from within rather than being externally imposed.
